Rebuilding Together Colorado Springs’ ‘Mile High’ Homecoming for Local Veteran
Rebuilding Together Colorado Springs helped modify the home of Sgt. Raleigh Heekin, who was injured in an IED explosion in February 2007. Volunteers painted the basement of the home, weatherized windows and also provided some cleanup in the backyard. The Serving Those Who Serve project is part of Rebuilding Together's Veteran's Housing Initiative.

Rebuilding Together Tampa Bay Clears the Path for One Veteran to Come Home
