  • Area Agencies on Aging and National Association of Area Agencies on Aging (n4a)
  • National Council on Aging (NCOA)
  • National Home Builders - Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist program (NAHB)
  • Home Safety Council (HSC)
  • AARP
  • American Society on Aging (ASOA)
  • Local city and county Health and Elderly Service Agencies and Centers

Federal Partnership: With federal funding through the US Administration on Aging beginning in 2000 – thanks to leadership of Representative  Steny Hoyer of Maryland – Rebuilding Together has established the highly-successful Safe at Home initiative. Hundreds of volunteers and social service offices have received falls prevention training; an industry-recognized house assessment checklist was created; a Public Service video, brochures, demonstration projects, and programs at national conferences have increased the national awareness of falls prevention. An estimated 20,000 falls were prevented thanks to modifications performed by Rebuilding Together’s affiliate network.
