Gulf Coast Operations

In the wake of Hurricane Katrina and Rita, Rebuilding Together directed its expertise in home revitalization and repair toward the Gulf Coast Region, pledging to rebuild 1000 homes along the coast from Mississippi to Southeast Texas. The 2008 hurricane season inflicted additional damage to the region, underscoring the need to keep our work moving forward.

Rebuild 1000 is executed in partnership with our Gulf Coast Affiliates, Our Sponsors, and thousands of Volunteers just like you.

We have made Progress since the storms in 2005, but the need in the Gulf region remains critical. Many continue to live in cramped and unsafe FEMA trailers parked in the front yards of their flood and wind damaged homes. We can help rebuild these homes and revitalize these communities, but we need you.
