API

In 2006 American Petroleum Institute (API) and Rebuilding Together came together to form an Energy Efficiency Program to help low-income homeowners lower their energy costs and to help remove a burden that they can ill afford. To date API has sponsored 45 rebuilds in 26 markets across the country.  Click here to read more about the Energy Efficiency Program

In addition to API’s support of the Energy Efficiency Program, they will also be the title sponsor for the 2008 and 2009 “Kickoff to Rebuild” events, which takes place at the Super Bowl each year. In 2008 we will be in Phoenix, AZ and in 2009 we will be in Tampa, FL.  All told, API has committed more than $817,000 to Rebuilding Together, our affiliates and the low-income homeowners in the United States.
