Mary Kay Meilunas
Mary Kay Meilunas joined Rebuilding Together in April 2009 as Vice President of Finance and Administration and is responsible for financial management and control, investment management, budgeting and analysis, and compensation and benefit plans administration.
Ms. Meilunas has over 18 years of experience in the not-for-profit sector having served as Chief Financial Officer of the American Association of Blood Banks (AABB) from 2006 to 2009, and as Chief Financial Officer of the U.S. Naval Institute from 1990 to 2006.
Prior to entering the not-for-profit sector, Ms. Meilunas worked as Controller at Time-Life Books in Alexandria, VA and seven years in various financial management positions with Time-Inc. in New York City. Ms. Meilunas also worked at Home Box Office as the senior financial analyst and at the firm of Ernst and Whinney as an auditor on the Time, Inc. and Home Box Office audits.
Mary Kay received a Masters in Business Administration from Columbia University and a Bachelor in Business Administration and Accounting from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
