Affiliate Sessions
Rebuilding Together is soliciting its affiliate leaders and colleagues to make presentations on successful or innovative programs and/or activities that they would like to share with our network at our Annual Conference. We invite you to submit a proposal for the 2010 National Conference in Las Vegas, NV.
All submissions must be received by June 4, 2010. The Organizational Development Committee of the National Affiliate Council will review these proposals and select the presentations with the best fit for the 2010 National Conference. If your proposal was not selected for the 2010 National Conference we may ask you to conduct a webinar in 2011 on your subject area. Download the application.

Presenting at the National Conference is a unique opportunity to help your fellow affiliates achieve the same successes that you have experienced in your local markets.
Selection Criteria:
• All submissions will be judged on the following criteria:
1. Overall Quality
2. Timeliness or Relevance of Topic
3. Audience Appeal
4. Well-Defined Focus of Presentation
5. Presenter’s Professional Background and Speaking Experience
Special attention will be given to proposals that:
• Generate ideas that contribute to ongoing discussion about the future of affordable housing and the work of Rebuilding Together.
• Demonstrate innovative thinking and creative solutions.
• Are unique and have not been previously presented at the National Conference.
• Build the visibility of Rebuilding Together to position the organization as a leader in the affordable housing community.
• Present strategies for effectively implementing low-cost solutions to marketing, fundraising and board building.
• Creative use of technology to enhance the mission of Rebuilding Together.
The sessions will be separated into tracks consisting of the following: Fundraising, Governance, Management, Program Services, and Marketing/Communications. Some of the presentations may fit in multiple tracks. Please see the sessions that will be considered in 2010 and the tracks in which they fit into.
Session Information:
Affiliate sessions are scheduled for Saturday, November 13th. There will be both morning and afternoon time slots available. The final time slot will be decided by the Organizational Development Institute Committee and the National Staff. Each session is 1 hour and 15 minutes in length and must have a PowerPoint presentation.
