Rebuilding Together Valparaiso
Rebuilding Together Valparaiso has been working to keep low-income homeowners warm, safe, and dry in Northwest Indiana for 20 years.  The affiliate was begun as an intentional “town-grown” effort, bringing together leaders from the City of Valparaiso; students, faculty and staff from Valparaiso University; and residents from the surrounding community.
Their spring Rebuilding Day in April regularly brings together more than 600 volunteers from across the community to work on more than two dozen homes and not-for-profit facilities.
If you are in Northwest Indiana on February 12, plan to join the community at a breakfast on the campus of Valparaiso University to celebrate the work of Rebuilding Together Valparaiso.  The breakfast will celebrate the unique partnership between Rebuilding Together and Thrivent Financial for Lutherans, a partnership which has annually provided work teams for projects in the community and leaders for the affiliate.  These leaders include its current president, Jeff Lamb, a Thrivent Financial Consultant and Rev. John Albers, a member of RT National Board of Directors, a Thrivent Financial Member.
