Pepsi Bottling Group Employees join Rebuilding Together affiliates in five communities to help repair homes and community centers.
Volunteers in Essex County, NJ worked to repair and paint the JFK Recreational Center located in Newark’s Central Ward. More than 30 volunteers were onsite to assist with the project. The center is a hub for many activities including swimming, basketball, aerobic classes, youth camps, exercise classes for seniors and persons with disabilities and many other daily activities. The curriculum also includes many instructional and training classes. The center is open every day and serves approximately 2500 Newark residents each week.
Volunteers in Detroit, MI will work to repair and improve the Samaritan Center. The center offers a multi-faceted community resource center for neighborhoods in Detroit's East Side.
Volunteers in Tampa, FL repaired Liberty Manor, a home for veterans. 60 volunteers worked to replace carpet, paint the interior including 11 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms, repair and screen the patio lanai, install gutters, replace doors, landscape the exterior, and make several other needed repairs. Founded in 2006, Liberty Manor for Veterans is a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide housing to honorably-discharged veterans who have served our country but have fallen victims to homelessness. Liberty Manor I, currently houses 16 disabled military veterans ages 28 – 83, and proudly boasts a representative of every war and major conflict since World War II.

Volunteers in San Antonio, TX assisted Debra & Ernesto Yglecias with repairs and modifications to their home. More than 35 volunteers worked on various projects including installation of a wheelchair ramp, repairing and replacing windows and painting the home.
Volunteers in Seattle, WA will work to repair and improve Zion Preparatory Academy. The mission of the academy is to ensure academic excellence in a loving, supportive environment where every child receives individual attention and instruction.
