Article type: News

National Rebuilding Day 2008 was a huge success for Rebuilding Together and low-income homeowners nationwide.  Through the work of our more than 200 affiliates and 1000's of skilled and unskilled volunteers 1000's of low-income homeowners now live in safe, warm and dry homes.

We were joined in our efforts by celebrities including Chelsea Clinton, Chris Kuper of the Denver Broncos, Emeril Lagasse, former Jacksonville Jaguar, Rich Griffith, HGTV hosts Eric Stromer, Lauren Lake, Frank Fontana, Carter Oosterhouse, and Taniya Nayak.

Over the past week, Rebuilding Together received national TV coverage on CBS and FOX, and more than 150 television reports in local markets.   Close to 100 of the TV hits were made in the top 50 major TV markets.
