Rebuilding Together Twin Cities recently garnered great media attention when they presented the VanderWert Family of New Prague, MN with their newly refurbished home. In November 2007, the VanderWert family was chosen to have their home repaired through the "Heroes at Home" program, a national partnership between Rebuilding Together and Sears Holdings. The home was in such need that the family actually moved into temporary housing while work was being completed.
