Hoards of Rebuilding Together volunteers gathered in West Tampa Bay in the rain and cold for Kickoff to Rebuild. The volunteers repaired and restored 20 homes in the historic community. The more than 1,000 volunteers were joined by NFL players Ryan Nece, Will Allen, D'Qwell Jackson, Brandon Jones, Duke Preston, Adrian Jones, Nick Sorensen and Oliver Hoyte. Teams painted homes, planted trees and provided major repairs and home restoration components to each of the homes. Rebuilding Together invested more than $600,000 into the neighborhood through combined corporate and in kind donation support and sponsorship for Kickoff to Rebuild. Rebuilding Together's Kickoff to Rebuild has been an official NFL sanctioned event at the Super Bowl for the past 14 years.
